Malcolm Blair Reserve holds a fully fenced, off-leash dog park on Karingal Drive in Greensborough - a secure, enclosed run within the wider reserve. The fencing is the main draw: it is a genuinely contained space for dogs still working on recall, with mature trees for shade and open grass for a proper run.
The rules. Keep your dog on-leash until you are inside the fenced enclosure, then off-leash is fine within the boundary. Stay with your dog and keep it in sight, clean up after it (bags are provided), and remove any dog behaving aggressively. It is a high-activity dog area, so supervise children closely.
What's there. The fenced area is set up for play, with reported features including tunnels, boulders, a sandpit and a digging pit, plus bench seating for owners and waste bins. Mature trees give natural shade, which helps on hot days. The wider reserve also has tennis courts and a playground.
Getting there. The address is 94 Karingal Drive, Greensborough. Parking is on-street along Karingal Drive and nearby residential streets, and it can fill during peak times, so allow for a short walk to the gate. There are further access points to the reserve via Layton Avenue, Melville Drive and Walnut Road, and local bus routes connect from Greensborough station.
Nearby with the dogs. Greensborough's Main Street cafes with outdoor seating are a short drive for a coffee afterwards, and Poulter Reserve about 1.6km away offers a larger open off-leash option if you want a change of scene.

Weekday mornings and early afternoons are quietest; weekends and the 4:30 to 6pm after-work window are the busy stretches. Good for dogs who need a secure space to burn energy off-leash.
