Little Paws Dog Park

Little Paws Dog Park is a small, fully fenced off-leash park on Coringley Road in Greenbank, in Logan City Council territory south of Brisbane. It is a neighbourhood park rather than a destination: a secure enclosure, some agility gear and a place for local dogs to meet, best for a quick run or a quiet session with a young or timid dog.

The dog setup

The whole point of Little Paws is the fence: clip the lead off once you are inside the secure boundary and let your dog go, without the escape risk of an open reserve. Its compact size suits smaller dogs and dogs still finding their feet around others, though bigger calm dogs use it too. Keep the lead on until you are through the gate, don't bunch up at the entrance when dogs are arriving, and take your dog out straight away if play turns aggressive or yours looks stressed. Carry bags and pick up after them.

What's on site

Inside the fence there is agility-style equipment to give a short session some structure, shaded seating for owners, and water on site, though bringing your own bowl is a sensible backup. There are no toilets or playground attached, which keeps foot traffic down. Street parking is available on the surrounding suburban streets, and with no direct public transport, most people drive or include the park in a local walking loop.

For a bigger session, Everleigh Dog Park has separate small and large dog zones a short drive away, and Big Paws Dog Park is the other fenced option in Greenbank.
