Viridian Circuit Park

Viridian Circuit Park is a fully fenced off-leash dog park on the western side of the reserve in Golden Beach, with separate enclosures for small and large dogs.

The rules. Dogs must be registered with Sunshine Coast Council and wear their tag. Off-leash use requires the owner to be present and the dog responsive to voice commands. Pick up after your dog, and note that regulated dogs are not permitted in the off-leash area.

What's there. The fenced area has a shelter, seating, natural shade, and some agility equipment for dogs to play on. The wider park also has a BBQ area, picnic tables, an outdoor gym, and a general play area, so it works for a mixed group where not everyone is there for the dog park.

Getting there. It sits in a residential pocket of Golden Beach with wheelchair-accessible parking nearby. There is no direct bus stop at the park, so check Translink for the closest Golden Beach route if you are relying on public transport.

Quieter early morning and late afternoon, busier with families around the picnic tables on weekends. Good for a proper off-leash run before or after a walk along the Golden Beach foreshore.
