Dellview Playspace

Dellview Playspace is a small residential reserve in Donvale, a quiet neighbourhood pocket of open grass with a children's playspace. It works as a low-key local leg-stretch rather than a destination dog park, and it is not fenced for containment.

The rules. Under Manningham's off-leash rules dogs must stay under effective voice control, and with no dog-proof fencing here that means reliable recall. Dogs must be on-leash within 15 metres of the playground equipment and any barbecue area. Clean up after your dog and keep it from bothering other park users. What's there. A small playspace, some bench seating, and mostly open, sunny grass with limited shade. Bins are on site, but there is no dedicated dog water fountain, so bring water and a bowl.

Getting there. It sits on a residential close, with street parking on the surrounding roads. Nearby bus routes run along the main Donvale roads, then a short walk in.

When to go. Generally quiet, with locals about early morning and late afternoon. Mid-morning or mid-afternoon on a weekday is the calmest. Good for a short, close-to-home outing rather than a long run.
