Blair Park Dog Park

Blair Park is a shared community park on Blair Avenue in Croydon, with a partially fenced off-leash area on its eastern side. The detail to know before you go is the clock: dogs run free from 3pm to 10am, and the leash goes back on through the middle of the day.

The dog setup

The eastern side of the park is the designated off-leash zone under Burwood Council rules, active from 3pm to 10am daily. Between 10am and 3pm the same ground is on-leash, so read the signage if you arrive midday rather than assuming a 24-hour park.

It is described as fenced, but the off-leash space connects toward areas near a side street, so keep an eye on dogs prone to wandering. Bags and bins are generally provided, and owners are responsible for picking up, with council fines applying.

The vibe

This is a neighbourhood park rather than a destination dog ground: bench seating, a drinking fountain with a dog bowl, grassed areas with some shade, bocce courts, and a separate fenced children's playground. The western side is an active sporting field, which is out of bounds for dogs during games.

Max: check the time before you unclip. This park flips between off-leash and on-leash through the day, unlike a fully fenced 24-hour ground.

Getting there and parking

The park sits off Blair Avenue and Queen Street, with street parking on both. Croydon railway station is a reasonable walk away, which makes it an option if you arrive by train.
