Robina Parkway Park Fenced Dog Park

Robina Parkway Park Fenced Dog Park is a fully enclosed off-leash run at the corner of Robina Parkway and Boowaggan Road in Clear Island Waters, with agility equipment, shade and lake-side parkland around it. It is the kind of park you can take a young or easily distracted dog because the fence line does the containing for you.

The dog run

Off-leash time is strictly limited to the inside of the fenced enclosure. Ramps, weave poles and other agility gear give high-energy dogs a job to do, and loaner tennis balls circulate among regulars, according to the Gold Coast council park listing and visitor reports.

Outside the fence, the rest of Robina Parkway Park is on-lead territory, and dogs are banned from the children's playground entirely. Council rangers do patrol, and the expectation of effective control applies even inside the run, so recall still matters.

Worth knowing

A water fountain, waste bag dispensers and bins are on site, and shaded seating gives owners somewhere to settle. The park sits beside the Clear Island Waters canal and lake system, which makes for a pleasant on-lead cool-down loop afterwards. Entry is through a double-gated airlock, so hold the second gate until the first is shut behind you.

Getting there and parking

The park is accessed off Robina Parkway with on-site parking near the dog enclosure. Gold Coast bus routes through Clear Island Waters and Robina put you within walking distance if you are coming without a car. The 24 hour access means early mornings are workable even on long summer days.

Close by with the dogs

Robina Common Fenced Dog Park is a short drive west if you want a second run, and Pizzey Park Fenced Dog Park backs up the options towards Mermaid Waters.
