What visitors mention
Carine Fenced Dog Park is a fully enclosed, double-gate off-leash area inside Carine Regional Open Space on Beach Road. It is one of the few genuinely secure fenced parks in the area, which makes it a solid pick for dogs that cannot be trusted off-leash in open space.
The rules. Dogs must be under voice control and in sight at all times inside the enclosure. Owners must pick up and dispose of waste immediately. A maximum of three dogs per person is allowed, and dogs must be over four months old. Aggressive dogs and females in heat are not permitted, and spiked or prong collars should come off before entry. Outside the fence, including in the car park, dogs must be back on lead.
What's there. The enclosure has a double-gate entry for safer exits, owner seating, water fountains and bin facilities, shaded patches and grassy ground. The wider Carine Regional Open Space adds public toilets, barbecues and sports facilities, plus unfenced walking trails around Big Carine Swamp for dogs that are solid on recall.
Getting there. The park sits on Beach Road, Carine, with plenty of street parking nearby, though it fills up around peak times. Local bus routes run along Beach Road.

Nearby with the dogs. Regular Coffee Company, Toasted Carine and Potato Potahto are all a short drive away in the Carine shops for a coffee or brunch stop after a run around.
When to go. Weekends and weekday early evenings (around 5-6.30pm) are the busiest stretches. Weekday mid-mornings or weekend middays are quieter if you want more room to let your dog off lead. Note that Carine Regional Open Space has works underway that may affect access until October 2026, so it's worth checking before a special trip.
