Dôme Café - Warwick

Dome Cafe Warwick sits inside the Warwick Entertainment Centre at 639 Beach Road in Perth's northern suburbs, next door to Grand Cinemas Warwick. It is a standard Dome done well: reliable coffee, an extensive breakfast menu and lunch favourites, open seven days from 6am to 7pm. For dog owners the detail that matters is simple, the alfresco area is where the dog sits.

The dog setup

Dogs are welcome in the paved outdoor seating section only; the indoor dining room is people only, consistent with Dome's house policy across its Perth venues. There are no dedicated pet amenities to count on, so bring your own water bowl. The alfresco deck is roomy by suburban-cafe standards and the complex is quiet at off-peak, which helps a dog settle.

Worth knowing

The apple pie and milkshakes are the things people order Dome for, and the breakfast menu runs all day. Reviews are mixed on wait times at peak, which is a fair warning for a Sunday brunch session with a dog at your feet. The cinema next door makes it a natural pre- or post-movie coffee, though the dog waits outside while you are in the screening.

Getting there and parking

Plenty of free parking sits within the Warwick Entertainment Centre car park, with easy access off Beach Road. It is unshaded, so on a hot day park for shade and keep the dog's water up. Warwick train station is close by if you arrive by rail.

Make a day of it

For off-lead time nearby, the Carine Fenced Dog Park is a short drive south and the Edgar Griffiths Dog Park covers the Wanneroo side. For other alfresco options, Little H Cafe in Duncraig and the Dome Cafe in Wanneroo both welcome dogs outdoors.
