Regular Coffee Company

Regular Coffee Company is a cosy neighbourhood cafe on Gemstone Boulevard in Carine, on the northern beaches side of Perth, and it makes the Dog Friendly WA list of Perth cafes worth a visit with your dog. The draw is strong coffee and big, generous brunch plates served at a casual pace by staff who clearly enjoy what they do.

The dog setup

Dogs are welcome at the outdoor alfresco seating, which is undercover, so you are not caught out by a change in the weather. Keep your dog leashed and settled beside the table; staff have a reputation for accommodating well-behaved dogs. Hours are 6:30am to 2:30pm weekdays and 7am to 2:30pm weekends, with the kitchen closing around 2pm.

What to order

The chilli scrambled eggs and eggs benedict are the two dishes that come up again and again in reviews, along with Spanish eggs and generous portions across the board. The menu leans toward all-day breakfast with some Asian-inspired dishes mixed in, and there is a solid set of house-baked cookies and sweets if you only want coffee. Vegetarian and vegan options are well covered.

Getting there and close by

The cafe sits in the Carine commercial strip near Marmion Avenue at Unit 10/2 Gemstone Boulevard, with a free car park on site and wheelchair-accessible entry and seating. For a proper run off lead, the fenced Carine Fenced Dog Park is close by with double-gate entry and water on site. If you want to turn coffee into a cafe hop, Toasted Carine is in the same suburb and Little H Cafe in Duncraig is a few minutes south with puppychinos on the menu.
