Little Billy's

Little Billy's is a casual neighbourhood cafe in the Cooleman Court precinct at Weston Creek, trading from 6am on weekdays and Saturdays (closed Sundays) out of Unit 5 at 17-19 Trenerry Street. Dogs are welcome at the outdoor tables, and the early open makes it a natural stop at the front or back end of a morning walk.

The dog setup

Take a table on the Trenerry Street side; indoor dining is people only, as is standard. Staff are generally accommodating of dogs and the tables sit close to the footpath, but bring your own water bowl during busy brunch periods and keep your dog leashed and settled beside the table while the queue moves.

Worth knowing

Regulars come for the bacon and egg roll, the honest value and the friendly service, and reviewers flag the quick turnaround even at peak. It is a no-fuss brunch cafe rather than a lingering one, which suits a coffee-and-bite stop with a dog far better than a big group booking. If you want a quiet table, mid-morning on a weekday is the calm window.

Getting there and parking

The cafe sits inside the Cooleman Court shopping area, with free street parking on Trenerry Street and the surrounding lots. Entry from the car park side is step-free, and the precinct is an easy drive from Weston Creek's neighbouring suburbs.

Close by with the dogs

Fetherston Gardens, off Heysen Street, is a quiet community garden with an arboretum and woodland beds where dogs are welcome on the paths on a leash. For off-leash time, Weston Creek Dog Park at Duffy has separate large and small dog enclosures with water stations (the ACT's fenced-park rules require registration and vaccination), and Wright Road Fenced Dog Park at Stirling is the alternative.
