Village Cafe and Dining Waramanga

Village Cafe and Dining is a suburban brunch spot at 15 Waramanga Place in the small Waramanga local shops, south of Weston Creek. The pull for dog owners is straightforward: a relaxed, ground-level courtyard right outside the entrance where staff actively welcome a leashed dog alongside a well-made coffee.

The dog setup

Dogs are welcome in the outdoor seating and should stay on leash. Some online sources suggest dogs may also be allowed indoors, but practices vary, so confirm with staff on arrival and plan around the courtyard. Water bowls are usually offered if you ask, though a collapsible one covers the gap on busy mornings.

Worth knowing

The kitchen leans on breakfast classics done well: regulars rate the eggs benedict, french toast, hash browns and the egg and bacon roll, and the long blacks have a following of their own. Trading runs from about 6:30 or 7am to mid-afternoon around 2:30pm, and early weekdays are the quiet window for a settled dog.

Getting there and parking

The Waramanga shops sit off Hindmarsh Drive with free parking in the centre lot directly out front and ample street parking around it. It is a local-shop strip, so walking in with the dog from the car is a few steps only.

Close by with the dogs

The grassed open space around the Waramanga shops covers a quick leg-stretch, and dogs on leash are welcome on the fire trails at Cooleman Ridge, a short drive west. For the off-lead session, the fully fenced runs at Weston Creek Dog Park in Duffy are ten minutes away, and La Viennese at Stirling is the neighbouring suburb's cafe option.
