NaMoo Cafe

NaMoo Cafe sits on Long Road at the gallery end of Tamborine Mountain, and it has built a following on two things: homemade scones and a Korean-influenced kitchen. The sunlit outdoor tables are where the dog owners land, and the mountain climate makes those tables usable most days of the year.

The vibe

Devonshire tea is the headline, with scones baked in-house and jam and cream done properly, but the kitchen goes further: a Korean beef burger, bulgogi plates, and nachos for the table. The owner gets singled out in reviews for being friendly, and it shows in the pace of the room, which is more local-regular than tourist-rush most weekdays.
