Quick Bliss Acai & Bagel Bar

Quick Bliss Acai & Bagel Bar is a small family-run health food stop on Gympie Road in Strathpine, and it does two things properly: fresh acai bowls and toasted bagels. It sits in the Pine Rivers strip north of Brisbane, opens early on weekdays, and keeps a handful of footpath tables out front where dogs are welcome. It is a quick stop rather than a long-lunch destination, which suits a coffee-and-cattle-walk kind of morning.

The dog setup

The outdoor tables run directly along the front of the counter, so you can order and sit without leaving your dog tied out of sight. Keep the lead on and your dog settled, because the tables sit close to the footpath and there is a steady flow of passers-by. Staff will usually bring out a water bowl if you ask, though throwing a travel bowl in the car is the safer bet. The space is compact, so this works best for calm dogs rather than those who need room to sprawl.

The menu

The acai is the headline: bowls and cups made with organic, dairy-free and gluten-free acai topped with granola, banana and strawberries, in blends like the original, tropical and peanut butter versions. Bagels run from simple cream cheese to loaded options such as the chicken, cheese and avocado, plus an eggs Benny bagel for a proper breakfast. Smoothies and coffee round it out, with most items sitting at the lighter end of the price scale. Doors open at 6am Monday to Friday, with weekend service starting at 6am Saturday and 7:30am Sunday, closing at 1pm both days, so it suits the early walk crew.

Getting there and parking

You will find it at 167 Gympie Road, Strathpine, in the shop strip with parking shared with the surrounding businesses. Weekday mornings get busy with the coffee queue, and Saturday trade is brisk until the 1pm close. Strathpine station is a short walk if you would rather leave the car at home.
