What visitors mention
The lead. Piggott Reserve on Leitchs Road is a fully fenced off-leash dog park in the Brendale industrial belt, with separate enclosures so you can keep big, bouncy dogs away from the small or timid ones. It sits inside a larger reserve with walking paths and open grass, so there is room to keep moving once your dog has burned off the first rush.
The rules. Standard City of Moreton Bay off-leash conditions apply: dogs must be under effective voice control inside the enclosure, and on lead until the gate is shut behind you. Close the gates promptly on the way in and out, pick up after your dog, and pull any dog showing aggression out straight away. Make sure vaccinations are current before mixing your dog with others here.
What's there. Two fenced sections, water taps and bowls, bench seating with some natural tree shade, and bins with bags usually stocked. There is on-site parking, and the broader reserve adds paved walking paths and fitness equipment if you want a lap afterwards.
Getting there. The address is Leitchs Road, Brendale QLD 4500, roughly half an hour north of the Brisbane CBD by car with a dedicated car park at the reserve. On public transport, the nearest rail is Strathpine Station, about 2.5km away, so a rideshare closes the last leg quickly.
Nearby with the dogs. The Brendale commercial strip around Leitchs Road and South Pine Road has several cafes with outdoor seating and water bowls if you want a coffee after the run. Pet-friendly motels sit over in Strathpine if you are staying the night.

When to go. It is busiest on weekend mornings and on weekday evenings after work. For a quieter run, especially with a reactive dog, aim for a weekday mid-morning. Good for social dogs that want a proper off-leash gallop in a secure space.
