Bray Park Dog Off leash park

The Bray Park dog off-leash area is a fenced run inside the bigger Old North Road Park at 905 Old North Road, Warner. It is a plain patch of open grass behind a fence, set up for one job: a safe run where you can let a dog off without extras or distractions. If you want water stations, agility gear or separate size zones, the bigger parks nearby do that instead.

The dog setup

The enclosure is fully fenced with open grassed space inside, big enough for fetch and a proper stretch. Gates need to be closed behind you coming in and out, and dogs should stay leashed until you are through. Bag dispensers and bins sit on site, but there is no water bubbler to rely on here, so bring a bottle and a bowl. Seating is basic. The wider park has a playground and conservation plantings, both off limits to off-leash dogs.

City of Moreton Bay rules apply: supervision at all times, dogs under effective voice control, leashed outside the enclosure, and dogs in season or showing aggressive behaviour need to be packed up and taken home. Registration with the council is expected.

Worth knowing

Weekday mornings, Mondays and Sunday afternoons are the quiet stretches, while weekends and midweek afternoons draw more of the regular crowd. If your dog is nervous around bigger groups, go off-peak. Because there is no on-site water, this park works best as a short, deliberate visit rather than a long summer session.

Getting there and parking

Set your GPS to 905 Old North Road, Warner, reached off Samsonvale Road, with free street parking nearby. Bray Park station on the Ferny Grove line is the closest rail option, but it is a long walk from here, so most visitors drive or rideshare the last leg.

Close by with the dogs

A few minutes up the road, Warner Lake Dog Park gives you two separate fenced zones, water stations and a lake walk, which covers what this park skips. Cashmere Dog Park on Cashmere Road is another fenced option with a dirt running track, and Sarbi Park adds a playground and BBQs if the whole household is coming.
