Cashmere Dog Park

The short version. Cashmere Dog Park on Cashmere Road is a fully fenced, decently sized off-leash park with open grass, scattered trees and a gently hilly layout. It is a straightforward local favourite that gets busy on weekend mornings.

The rules. Keep your dog leashed until you are inside the fenced area, then off-leash is fine provided they stay in sight and under reliable voice control. Use both entry gates one at a time. Clean up after your dog with the bins provided, and supervise at all times. Dogs should be registered with the City of Moreton Bay.

What is there. A working dog water bubbler, benches for owners, some shade from the trees, and bag dispensers. There is a dirt track for dogs that like to run and often a basket of shared toys. A long concrete path runs alongside, handy for a lead walk before or after.

Getting there. It sits on Cashmere Road with parking usually available near the entrance. The nearest bus stops are on Warner Road and South Pine Road, roughly a 10 to 15 minute walk, so most people drive.

Nearby with the dogs. The cafes at Warner Marketplace, including dog-friendly Stellarossa, are about five minutes drive for a coffee with outdoor seating. Warner Lake Dog Park is close by if you want a fenced alternative.

When to go. Early weekday mornings give you the most open space. Saturday mornings and evenings, plus Monday afternoons, are the busiest, so time it mid-morning midweek if your dog likes room.
