Sarbi Park Fenced Dog Park

The short version. Sarbi Park is a fenced off-leash dog area inside a larger community park at 66 Swan Parade in the Warner Lakes precinct, open 24/7. It is named after Sarbi, the decorated Special Forces explosive-detection dog, and there is a memorial to her on site, which sets it apart from the average suburban run.

The rules. Dogs run off-leash inside the fenced enclosure but must stay under effective voice control, and they should be leashed in the wider parkland. When to go. Weekday mornings are usually calm and suit anxious dogs. It gets busiest in the late afternoon and early evening from Thursday through Sunday, and on weekend afternoons, so aim early or midweek for room to move. Cafes in nearby Warner Village and Albany Creek offer dog-friendly outdoor seating for afterwards.
