Boxwood Court Park Fenced Dog Park

Boxwood Court Park is a fully fenced off-leash dog park set inside a larger treed parkland in Warner, managed by the City of Moreton Bay. The combination of secure fencing, a separate small-dog pen and good shade makes it a comfortable pick for less confident dogs as well as confident runners.

The dog setup

The main enclosure is fully fenced with a double-gated entry, so let one dog through the gates at a time. Inside there is basic agility equipment, a water fountain and seating under a shelter with tree shade. A separate pen keeps small or timid dogs away from the big play. Bag dispensers and bins sit by the entrance, though the fountain can occasionally be out of order, so a backup water bowl is a sensible habit here.

Worth knowing

Off-leash access applies inside the fence only; dogs must be leashed in the surrounding parkland, particularly near the playground and walking paths. Keep dogs under effective control while off-lead, supervise all interactions, and pick up with the bins provided. The broader park has paths, a BMX track, a basketball court and picnic areas, so the space gets mixed use beyond the dog pen.

Pepsi: the small-dog side is the reason to come here if yours is easily overwhelmed. Use it rather than forcing an introduction in the main pen.

Getting there and parking

The dog park sits off Boxwood Court in Warner's suburban street grid, with parking near the entrance. Buses run along Samsonvale Road nearby. Weekday mid-mornings and early afternoons give the most space; weekend mornings and after-work hours are the busy windows.

Close by with the dogs

Warner Lake Dog Park and Sarbi Park are the other dedicated dog spaces in the suburb, and Les Hughes Sports Complex in Bray Park adds a larger fenced setup minutes away. Stellarossa Warner at the marketplace on Samsonvale Road is the natural coffee stop after a session.
