Havenstone occupies a heritage building at 5 Fleet Street in North Parramatta, and it has quietly built a name as a weekday breakfast destination. It trades 8am to 2pm Monday to Friday and closes on weekends, so it suits a mid-week catch-up or a workday coffee run far better than a Saturday ritual.

The vibe

The old Fleet Street building does a lot of the talking: historic streetscape, a solid stone shell and a kitchen that takes breakfast seriously. After breakfast, the Dan Mahoney Reserve fenced dog park gives your dog a proper off-lead run a short drive away, and the Lake Parramatta Reserve circuit is one of the better dog walks in Sydney's west.
