Paper Plane Cafe Parramatta

Paper Plane is a casual coffee house on Horwood Place, a quiet central laneway near the old Roxy Theatre in Parramatta, and the draw for dog owners is the small run of footpath tables out front where your dog can sit beside you through breakfast.

The kitchen runs an all-day brunch built around honest, well-priced plates: corn fritters, a bacon and avo benny, French toast and a steak sandwich that gets its own fan mail. The coffee leans to buttery caramel notes. Open daily 7am to 2pm, which makes it a breakfast-and-lunch room rather than an afternoon option.

The address is 5/2 Horwood Place, Parramatta. The Horwood Place parking structure sits right alongside (paid), and street parking on the surrounding blocks is tight. Westfield Parramatta is a short walk if the laneway fills, and Parramatta station is the easiest way in at peak times.

While you're out there

The Parramatta River walk is a few minutes away for a post-coffee stroll, with the People's Loop Trail giving the outing some structure. If the footpath tables are gone, homage specialty coffee and Meraki Coffee Parramatta are nearby fallbacks with outdoor space.
