Four Point Grind

Four Point Grind is a small, well-regarded cafe on Blackburn Road in Mount Waverley, with alfresco seating along the front where dogs are welcome. It's a weekday spot, closed on weekends, so time your visit accordingly.

The dog setup. Dogs are welcome at the outdoor tables along Blackburn Road, not inside. The outdoor tables are on the small side, so it suits smaller dogs or a calm, well-behaved larger dog. Water bowls are often available, but bring your own portable bowl to be safe.

Good to know. It's known for specialty coffee and a lunch line-up of banh mi, bao buns and freshly baked muffins. Hours are roughly 6:30am to 3pm, weekdays only.

Getting there. At 545 Blackburn Road. Parking is limited on Blackburn Road itself; try nearby side streets or the surrounding business parking. Local buses run along Blackburn Road.

Nearby with the dogs. Damper Creek Reserve is close by for a leashed bush walk before or after a coffee.
