Chaos Cafe is a busy, heavily styled brunch and lunch spot on the Neutral Bay end of the Mosman strip, leafy, eclectic and popular at weekends. It takes dogs at the footpath tables out front, so it suits a casual stop with your dog rather than an indoor sit-down.

The dog setup. Dogs are welcome in the outdoor footpath seating along the front; the indoor dining area is people-only under NSW food rules. Water bowls are generally around, but carry your own portable bowl to be safe. Keep your dog on lead clear of the path.

Getting there. Street parking on the surrounding streets gets busy, so check the signs carefully. Buses along Military Road stop close by.

Best outside the weekend brunch peak, when the front tables are calmer and easier to settle into. Good for a social dog that copes with footpath foot traffic.
