Roo Kitchen and Bar

The draw is Toby's Estate coffee, house-baked pastries and danishes, New York bagels and an all-day breakfast menu, with the matcha lattes getting regular mentions. Trading hours run early, generally 6am to 2pm, so plan it as a breakfast or lunch stop rather than an afternoon one, and confirm hours before a special trip.

Getting there and parking

Parking directly on Beaudesert Road out front is limited and the road is busy. The adjacent side streets such as Gainsborough Street and Mayfield Road usually have more room a short walk away.

Close by with the dogs

Evans Road Park Fenced Dog Park is the local off-lead option, and the Grey Gum STEPS Track in Toohey Forest makes a proper bushwalk before breakfast. For a second coffee, Botanicafe is the other Moorooka dog-friendly pick, and Shaftesbury Street Big and Small Dog Parks at Tarragindi is one suburb over.
