Evans Road Park Fenced Dog Park

Evans Road Park is a fully fenced off-leash dog park on the corner of Beaudesert Road and Evans Road, Moorooka. It is a compact, convenient neighbourhood park with separate areas for small and large dogs and its own parking, which makes it an easy stop rather than a day-trip.

The rules. Inside the fenced enclosure dogs are off-leash under effective voice control. Use the double-gate system and make sure each gate is closed behind you before releasing your dog. Pick the correct enclosure for your dog's size, pick up after your dog and use the bins provided, and remove any dog that becomes aggressive. Keep your dog leashed until you are inside the fence.

What's there. Two separately fenced areas split small and large dogs, with established trees for shade and bench seating so owners can sit and watch. On-site parking sits alongside the enclosures.

Getting there. The park is directly on the Beaudesert Road / Evans Road corner with dedicated parking, so access is straightforward by car. By bus, the closest stop is Beaudesert Road at Muriel/Evans (stop 37), a short walk away.

Nearby with the dogs. Bean on the Green on Koala Road is a dog-friendly cafe with outdoor seating about a three-minute drive away. Snag & Brown in Annerley, known for its backyard dog area, is a short drive as well for a post-park coffee.

When to go. Weekday mornings are the quietest. Weekday afternoons and weekend mornings are the busiest, so if your dog is nervous around a crowd, aim for a weekday morning or a late Sunday afternoon.
