Kwik Koffee Drive Thru Vasse & Vasse Koffee Academy

Kwik Koffee Drive Thru Vasse is the Yahava KoffeeWorks outpost at 6 Burler Drive in the Vasse commercial precinct, and it doubles as the Vasse Koffee Academy for the brand's barista training. The format is built for the car: a drive-thru window, fast in-and-out service, and a crew that keeps dog treats at the window for canine passengers.

The dog setup

The easiest dog visit is the one without leaving the car. Yahava's own channels make a point of loving dogs, and the baristas routinely hand a complimentary dog treat through the window with your order. If you would rather get out, there is outdoor seating on site where a leashed dog can settle while you drink, and staff are used to four-legged regulars. There is no café-style water station, so bring a bowl on a hot South West morning and the crew will fill it.

The coffee and the cabinet

Everything runs on Yahava's own house-roasted beans, which is the drawcard: this is a roaster's drive-thru rather than a franchise pour. Alongside the espresso list there are chai lattes, rich Chokolat and a Peppermint Chokolat, plus iced coffees, cold brew, smoothies, frappes and thick shakes for warm drives. The food cabinet covers ham toasties, wraps and banana bread with cookies and brownies for the sweet end, and the counter sells bags of beans plus Chokolat mixes, elixirs and essences to take home.

Getting there and parking

Burler Drive sits in the Vasse commercial area just off Bussell Highway between Busselton and the Capes, with a free on-site carpark and a drive-thru lane set up for quick traffic. Hours are 6:15am to 3pm weekdays, 6:30am to midday Saturday and 7am to midday Sunday, so it is a mornings-and-lunch operation with early closes on weekends. The Koffee Academy side runs barista training from the same building, which tells you how seriously the coffee is taken.

Close by with the dogs

The local off-lead option is Vasse Dog Park in the suburb itself, an easy detour before the drive-thru lane. Vasse's open paths connect toward the wetlands for an on-lead warm-up walk. If you are doing a coffee drive-thru tour of the region, the Kwik Koffee Busselton and Causeway Coffee drive-thrus cover the Busselton side of town, and the sit-down Periscope Cafe at Geographe Bay is the alternative when you want a table.

Max: a roaster-run drive-thru with a treat at the window is the correct way to handle a dog who hates being left in the car.
