The Little Brew Bus

The Little Brew Bus is a takeaway coffee van parked on the grounds of Jacobs Well Tourist Park, and it is thoroughly dog-friendly. For a coffee stop on a walk with the dog, it is about as easy as it gets: order at the window and settle on the grass.

The dog setup

It is takeaway-only and outdoors, so dogs on leads come right up to the service window. There is no formal cafe seating, but the surrounding grassy park space is open for you and your dog while you drink. The van is known for puppuccinos, and water bowls are often out near the window.

Worth knowing

The van has a small, devoted following, drawn by quality espresso, iced coffee and quick, friendly service in a scenic spot. Iced drinks are a strength in the warmer months, and the regular crowd shows how fast the window queues on a weekend morning. Trading hours are limited and shift, generally from early morning, so check its social pages before heading out.

Getting there and parking

The van sits on the Jacobs Well Tourist Park grounds on Jacobs Well Road, with ample parking in the park and roadside parking near the entrance.

Close by with the dogs

The quiet waterside pathways around Jacobs Well suit a walk with your coffee, and the fenced dog park at Riesenweber Park is right there for an off-lead run. Jacobs Well Tourist Park hosts the van and takes dogs, and Calypso Bay Cafe is the suburb's other dog-friendly stop.
