Calypso Bay Café

Calypso Bay Cafe sits at 3 Recreation Place in Jacobs Well, inside the Calypso Bay Residents' Leisure Club, with outdoor seating looking over the marina and canal water. It opens daily from 7am to 2pm and covers breakfast, brunch and lunch, which makes it a natural stop before or after a walk along the water with your dog.

Getting there and parking

Jacobs Well is a short detour off the M1 along Pimpama-Jacobs Well Road, and the cafe is at the water end of the suburb inside the residents' club precinct, with dedicated on-site parking out front. It is about 50 minutes from central Brisbane, and closer to an hour from the Gold Coast the other way.

Close by with the dogs

For a proper run, Riesenweber Park Fenced Dog Park is the local fenced option, and the bay-side streets around the marina suit a calm on-lead wander either side of coffee. The Castaway Cafe Grab and Go up the road is another dog-friendly coffee stop, and Jacobs Well Tourist Park makes a waterside base if you are staying over.
