Little's

Little's is a relaxed beachside cafe at Shop 6/28-32 Kingsway, a very short walk from Cronulla beach. It opens 6am to 3pm every day of the week, and the outdoor tables on the Kingsway are where the dogs settle in.

The dog setup

Dogs are welcome at the outdoor seating on the Kingsway, and the staff have a friendly, welcoming reputation with the beach-walking crowd. Water bowls are likely given the dog traffic through the area, but bring your own to be sure. The tables sit on a footpath off one of Cronulla's busier strips, so keep the lead short when the foot traffic builds.

Worth knowing

The menu runs to globally inspired brunch: a popular breakfast burrito, loaded salmon bagels, pancakes, fish tacos and the cheeseburger smash, with cold brew on the coffee side. Regulars rate the value for money and the generous portions, and there is no weekend surcharge. It suits a quick stop on a beach walk rather than a long sit-down.

Getting there and parking

Kingsway parking in central Cronulla can be tight, with surrounding residential streets and the beach car parks as the backup. Cronulla Station is a short walk, so arriving on foot with the dog already halfway through a walk is the easy option.

Close by with the dogs

Cronulla Park's grass and the esplanade suit an on-lead stroll from the door. For off-lead time, Greenhills Beach Dog Off Lead is a short drive north, with Sutherland Shire Council's morning off-leash hours to mind. If you are turning breakfast into a crawl, Top Shop at Wanda and Shelly Park Shop are fellow dog-friendly stops.
