Loaded Corner Cafe

Loaded Corner Cafe is an all-day brunch spot at 40 East Terrace on the eastern edge of the Adelaide CBD, opening onto the parklands across the road. It is one of the few city cafes that welcomes dogs inside as well as at the outdoor tables, which makes it a genuine wet-weather option for dog owners. Hours run 7am to 3pm, seven days.

The dog setup

Dogs can settle at the outdoor corner tables or come inside with you, which is unusual for the CBD. There is a dedicated, vet-approved dog menu with treats and puppaccinos, and the team is used to having dogs in the room. Mention the dog if you book so you are seated well, and carry your own water bowl as backup.

The vibe

Coffee comes from local roaster Monastery, and the drinks list leans into matcha, including lavender, Earl Grey and pistachio variations plus a proper pistachio latte. Food runs all day: chilli scramble, a reuben sandwich, beef ribs benedict, Turkish eggs and rotating sweet treats like banana bread, with vegetarian and gluten-free adjustments available. The room is bright and busy with a warm community feel.

Getting there and parking

East Terrace is mostly paid street parking, including along Grenfell Street nearby, and the cafe sits within walking distance of Hutt Street. Weekday mornings are calmest; weekends fill fast.

Close by with the dogs

Rymill Park (Murlawirrapurka) is directly across the road for an on-lead lap before brunch. For off-lead time, fenced dog runs sit in the south parklands a short drive away, including the All Dog Park. Peter Rabbit Cafe in the West End is the other indoor-dogs pick in the city.
