Kimbolton Wines is a modern cellar door built from repurposed shipping containers on Burleigh Street in Langhorne Creek, about 55 minutes from Adelaide, with a rooftop deck over the vines and a relaxed, family and dog-friendly welcome.

Getting there. The cellar door is at 29 Burleigh Street, Langhorne Creek, open 11am to 4pm daily except selected public holidays. Parking is free and on-site, with easy, wheelchair-accessible access to the ground-level deck.

Nearby with the dogs. Bremerton Wines is a short drive away and has a dog-friendly beer garden. Strathalbyn, about ten minutes off, has the Angas River Walk, a scenic path good for stretching a dog's legs after a tasting, plus a quiet township worth a wander.

When to go. Midweek visits are quieter and give dogs more space on the lawn and deck; weekends bring families and lawn games, so arrive early if you want a shaded outdoor table.
