Zoomies Dog Park - By Appointment Only

Zoomies Dog Park is a private, fully fenced one acre property at 556 Springs Road, Mount Barker Springs, and the whole model is built around appointments: no walk-ins, no surprise dogs, just your own booking in a secure paddock. For owners of anxious, reactive or recall-shaky dogs, that single detail is the reason to book.

The dog setup

Booking is mandatory. Sessions are scheduled in advance through the Zoomies booking site or their Facebook page, all fees are paid online at the time of booking, and entry without a confirmed booking is not permitted on this private property. Up to four dogs can come along per session.

What is there

The entire acre is enclosed by 1.5 metre high-tensile mesh fencing. On site you get a paddle pool, scattered play equipment, seating, rainwater and poo bags, with trees and native vegetation around the edges for sniffing and exploring. Sessions run in most weather, but the booking page carries closure notices after heavy rain.

Max: a 1.5 metre fence with no dogs arriving mid-session makes this about as low stress as an off-lead outing gets. Use it for recall training while the pressure is off.

Getting there

The park sits on Springs Road at Mount Barker Springs, about ten minutes east of Mount Barker's town centre up towards the hills. It is a drive-to property with on-site parking, so plan the visit around a car trip rather than a walk from town.
