Timberlane Park is a quiet neighbourhood reserve on Althaea Way in Woodvale, beside Woodvale Secondary College. Open ovals and paved paths make it an easy on-lead leg-stretch.
Lead rules
The City of Joondalup manages the park. Keep dogs on lead unless a sign marks an exercise area, and keep them away from the playground.
The walk
Concrete and asphalt paths edge the grassed sporting ovals and a local playground. Mature trees give scattered shade around the edges.
Bins are around the park and hall, but there is no dog water on the loop, so bring a bowl. Street parking is easy near Althaea Way.

Quieter than the big regional parks, so it suits young dogs still learning lead manners.
