Swanbourne Reserve

Swanbourne Reserve is a leafy neighbourhood green link in Swanbourne, in Perth's western suburbs, good for a short on-lead stroll close to the coast.

Lead rules

The City of Nedlands manages the reserve, and no off-lead area is named for it, so keep dogs on a lead.

The walk

Paths are concrete and hard-packed ground through open turf, with mature trees for shade in pockets and coastal vegetation around the edges.

Street parking lines the surrounding residential streets, and bins sit along the connecting walkways.

Make a day of it

The Allen Park Bushland Trails in Swanbourne add a bush walk, and Kilo Cafe is close for coffee.

When to go

Locals use it for quick after-work walks. Go early or late in summer, and bring water for the dog.
