Grande Park

Grande Park on Grande Avenue in Springfield Lakes pairs sealed walking paths with a fenced off-leash dog area across the road. On the paths and park grounds, dogs stay on a lead.

Leads and the off-lead area

Ipswich City Council allows dogs on lead through the parkland. The fenced dog area at 57 Grande Avenue is double-gated, with open grass and agility features for off-lead play.

Dogs are banned from the nearby White Rock-Spring Mountain Conservation Estate, so do not wander onto its trails.

The walk

Concrete shared paths wind across manicured lawn, past a fenced playground and a traffic-themed bike safety track, with bushland along the back edge.

What's there

Water fountains and taps sit near the dog area and around the park, and bins come with bag dispensers. Trees and covered picnic shelters give shade.

Parking is on site, and there are accessible toilets, courts and barbecues across the paths.
