Ridge Park

Ridge Park in Myrtle Bank is a City of Unley reserve where dogs can be off lead at any hour. The only exception is organised sport, so on a quiet day the whole park is open to them.

Lead rules

Dogs may be off lead at all times, except while organised sport is being played. When a game is on, put the lead back on and keep clear of the playing area.

The walk

Paved paths wind through the reserve past wide grassy ovals and big heritage river red gums. You also pass a nature play space, a skate area and tennis courts, so expect people about.

Drinking water, bins, toilets and shaded picnic seating are all on site. Parking is on the surrounding streets.

Pepsi: All that open grass is made for a game of fetch, and there's drinking water on site for the break afterwards.

Conyngham Street Dog Park is another nearby spot for a run, and Local Luxe Cafe is close for a coffee.

When to go

Check for scheduled sport before you plan an off-lead session. The paved paths and shade suit older dogs, while the open ovals give younger ones room to stretch out.
