Phil Adams Park

Phil Adams Park is a quiet pocket of grass off Railway Street in East Corrimal, handy for a short on-lead walk close to home or a cool-down after the beach. Wollongong City Council requires dogs on a leash at all times here.

Lead rules

This is not an off-leash area. Dogs also have to stay at least 10 metres from the children's play area.

The walk

Concrete paths cross the park, with seating along the way. Tall, established trees give patchy shade over the grass.

There are litter bins in and around the park, but bring your own bags and water for the dog. Street parking is easy along Railway Street and the nearby residential streets.

Pair it with

For off-leash time, the East Corrimal Beach dog area is nearby and allows dogs off lead at any time in the signed section. Afterwards, Saltie Dog Coffee & Crêpes and K by the Sea are both in East Corrimal.

Who it suits

It suits a gentle stroll with an older dog or a quick loop on a busy day. The park is small, so treat it as a stop on the way to the coast rather than a destination.
