Berwick Springs Promenade

The Berwick Springs Promenade circles a large lake and open wetlands in Narre Warren South, on smooth paths wide enough for prams and wheelchairs. It sometimes gets listed as Berwick Waters, but that name belongs to a housing estate in Clyde North.

Leads and the off-lead area

The City of Casey manages the reserve. Dogs stay on lead on the main paths, and a fenced dog park inside the Berwick Springs Wetland Reserve lets them run off lead.

Council signs around the reserve set out the leash rules and mark the areas kept for the environment.

The walk

The paths are paved, flat and even. Expect waterbirds on the lake, grassy areas beside the path and playgrounds along the way.

It is a well-used local walk, so your dog will pass plenty of other walkers and birds. Bring water for the dog.
