Seebeck Drive Reserve Dog Park

Seebeck Drive Reserve's dog park is a small, fully fenced off-leash park in Narre Warren South with a double-gated airlock entry, which makes it one of the safer options in the City of Casey for dogs that bolt at open gates. It is a local favourite rather than a destination park, and the compact footprint suits a contained, social run.

The dog setup

The airlock entry is the design feature: leash for the walk in, through the double gates, then off-lead inside. The space is open grass and dirt with a water tap for dogs, bins, bag dispensers and basic seating for the supervision shift. Effective voice control is expected throughout, aggressive dogs are not permitted, and children under 16 should be supervised by an adult around the dogs.

Outside the fence the reserve opens into walking paths, so the off-lead burst can bookend a longer on-lead circuit rather than being the whole outing. The small size works both ways: easy to supervise, quick to feel crowded.

Worth knowing

Pepsi: use the airlock properly. Do not let your dog nose past you into the outer gate before the inner one closes, because that defeats the whole design.

Shade is limited, so this is a winter-midday or summer-early-morning park, and the surface turns muddy after heavy rain. The regulars have a friendly reputation, which is its own drawcard for dogs still learning park manners, though it cuts the other way if your dog prefers an empty yard.

Getting there and parking

The reserve sits on Seebeck Drive with street parking along the road, and it is a car-access park: the nearest station is Narre Warren on the Pakenham line, followed by a short bus or taxi leg. Weekends get busy from mid-morning; early mornings and weekdays after 4pm are the quiet stretches.
