Berwick Springs Dog Park is a fenced off-leash area inside the Berwick Springs Wetland Reserve in Narre Warren South, a genuinely new addition to the area, it opened for use in April 2026 once the grass had established. It sits near the reserve's large wooden playground and gives the neighbourhood a proper off-leash option beyond the on-leash wetland paths.

The rules. Inside the fenced area, dogs can be off-leash under effective voice control, with multiple gated entry/exit points for safety. There is also a dedicated dog run along one fence line for recall training. Once you leave the fenced area and step onto the wider wetland reserve paths, leash back up, that parkland is on-leash.

What's there. A dog drinking fountain, a bin dispenser for waste, seating, and lighting at the entrance for darker winter evenings. As a very new facility, expect the grass to still be settling in, so it may be soft or patchy for a while yet.

Getting there. The park is off Beauford Ave, Narre Warren South (3805), reached from Grices Road or Berwick-Cranbourne Road. Street parking is available on Beauford Ave. It is a car-access reserve with no train station nearby.

Being so new, reviews and crowd data are still thin, early mornings and weekday visits are a safe bet for a quiet run while word gets around. Good for locals wanting a proper fenced off-leash space without the drive into Berwick or Fountain Gate.
