Peter Scullin Reserve

Bay views and the old Mordialloc Pier frame Peter Scullin Reserve, a foreshore park on Beach Road. The rules change within a few metres, so the foreshore path on lead is the safe bet.

Lead rules

Dogs are allowed on lead on the Beach Road shared path. The beach between Mordialloc Creek and Bay Street is a City of Kingston no-dog zone at all times.

Council material lists an off-lead area in the reserve, but other research says dogs are kept off the main lawns. Read the signs on the grass before you unclip.

Max: The sand here is off limits all year. Stick to the path and read the foreshore signs.

The walk

Flat sealed paths run through the reserve and along the foreshore. There are fountains with dog bowls, bins, shade structures and mature trees, plus parking that is partly paid or time-limited.
