Hoskins Park

Hoskins Park sits on the corner of Pigott and Davis streets in Dulwich Hill, a leafy village green run by Inner West Council. It is an on-lead park, good for a short neighbourhood stroll.

The stroll

Paved paths wind through the recently upgraded park, past picnic spots, a modern playground and mature trees. A lap of the perimeter is only 150 to 200 metres, so add a few or link it with nearby streets.

Lead rules

Keep dogs on lead across the park and away from the playground. A temporary fenced off-lead area has been used during GreenWay works, but check the signs on the day rather than assuming it is open.

Make a day of it

Stretch the walk along The GreenWay, then stop at Cafe The Beans Dulwich Hill.

Shade from the big trees makes it a fair choice on warm afternoons. Best for a short, easy outing.
