Ramlegh Springs Wetlands

The Ramlegh Springs Wetlands sit in Clyde North, around Leghorn Way and Reflections Boulevard, and the path around the central water is a smooth, flat on-lead loop through a newer estate. Birdlife on the ponds is the main show.

Lead rules

The City of Casey allows dogs on lead along the wetland paths and circuits. Fenced dog parks elsewhere in the estate are the place for off-lead play.

The walk

The circuit is mostly sealed shared path, with some boardwalk sections over the wet ground. You also pass playgrounds and open green spaces tied into the neighbourhood.

Shade is thin for now, since much of the planting is still young. Bins sit along the main paths, and there is street parking near the access points and the Ramlegh Community Centre.

Pepsi: Bring a bowl and a bottle. Taps are around the nearby parks rather than right on the wetland loop.

Make a day of it

Finish with an off-lead run at Pasadena Fenced Dog Park, or grab food at Fork & Fable.

When to go

With little shade, early morning or evening is best in summer. The flat surface suits puppies, older dogs and anyone pushing a pram.
