Richmond Caravan & Cabin Park

Richmond Caravan & Cabin Park is a small holiday park at 48 Middle Tea Tree Road on the edge of Richmond, the historic Coal River village about twenty five minutes from Hobart. Getting there and parking

Middle Tea Tree Road runs off the B31 between Richmond and the airport side of the Coal River valley. You park on your own site, and the village, the famous Richmond Bridge and the riverside parkland are all walkable from the gate.

Close by with the dogs

There is no fenced off leash park in Richmond itself, but the Coal River bank and village greens make good on lead walks. For a proper run, Sorell Dog Park is about fifteen minutes south east with two fenced sections, and Cambridge Dog Park sits on the other side of the airport. If you want a cabin guaranteed pet friendly rather than uncertain, Barilla Holiday Park at Cambridge is the other country-style option nearby, and Sorell Council Self Contained RV Park covers the self-sufficient end of town.
