Narellan Motor Inn is a three-star motel at 5 The Old Northern Road, Narellan, across the road from the Narellan Town Centre shopping precinct. It is a practical base for travelling with a small dog through the Camden and Macarthur region rather than a destination in itself, and it is one of the few motels in the area that formally takes dogs.

The rules are specific: one dog per room, up to 12kg, in designated pet rooms only, with an AU$20 per night fee. Food and water bowls are supplied in the room. Dogs cannot be left unattended at any time, so plan your days so the dog comes with you or someone stays back. Cats and other pets are not accepted, and service animals are exempt from the fee. Pet rooms are limited, so call ahead and confirm one is free for your dates before you book online. If your dog is over 12kg, ring first rather than assume the limit bends.

Free on-site parking sits right at your door, which makes unloading a dog and luggage at the same time painless. There is an outdoor pool and a BBQ area. Dining on site is a closed chapter: the Bohemian Euro Restaurant at the motel's address permanently ceased trading in June 2026, so plan to eat out in Narellan rather than downstairs.

Getting there and parking

The motel fronts The Old Northern Road in central Narellan, with the Narellan Town Centre shopping strip directly across the road. Parking is free and on-site. Camden town centre is a short drive south, and the Sydney orbitals put the airport under an hour away outside peak.

Close by with the dogs

The Narellan Leash Free Park is the local off-lead run, and the fenced Champions Park Fenced Dog Park at Oran Park is a few minutes further. For a proper bushwalk on lead, the William Howe Regional Park trail sits about 4km away. Sidewalk Society is the Narellan coffee stop worth trying.
