Oran Park dog park

The Oran Park dog park at 22b Howard Loop is Camden Council's fully fenced off-leash facility, known locally as Titan Park. It carries separate double-gated zones for small and large dogs, which makes it one of the more considered setups in the growing south-west suburbs.

The dog setup

Dogs run off-leash inside the fenced zones under effective voice control, with the small and large dog areas kept apart so play styles do not collide. Make sure both gates are closed behind you on entry, supervise at all times, and use the bags and bins provided for waste. Dogs declared dangerous or restricted are not permitted in off-leash enclosures under council policy.

Facilities run past the basics: water fountains with dog bowls, agility-style play equipment, shaded seating, benches, picnic tables and lighting for evening visits. Parking is wheelchair accessible and the grounds are flat and open, which suits older dogs and prams alike.

Pepsi: small-dog yard, big-dog energy next door, and lights that mean dinner time does not end park time.

The size separation is the detail that sells this park to mixed households: a kelpie and a cavoodle can both get a genuine run without the cavoodle needing rescuing. Bring your own bags as backup anyway, because the dispensers at new facilities run empty faster than the council can restock them.

Worth knowing

Oran Park is still filling in around the park, so weekend mornings draw a crowd of new residents and puppies; weekday middays are calmer. The lighting extends usable hours through winter, a rarity among local off-leash areas.

Getting there and parking

Reach the park via Oran Park Drive onto Howard Loop, close to the Oran Park Podium town centre. Free street parking is usually available nearby, and bus stops serve the area, though a car remains the practical option from most of the Macarthur region.

Champions Park Fenced Dog Park is Oran Park's other fenced run, and Clifton Park Fenced Dog Park sits a short drive out at Cobbitty. The Harrington Lake Walk is a scenic on-lead loop nearby. The Grid Cafe on Peter Brock Drive runs a dedicated dog menu if you want to finish with lunch.
