Clifton Park Fenced Dog Park(Cobbitty)

Clifton Park Fenced Dog Park gives the Cobbitty and Oran Park growth corridor a proper enclosed off-leash space: roughly 862 square metres of secure grassed run in the Arcadian Hills estate, managed by Camden Council. It is compact rather than sprawling, which suits training sessions, quiet socialisation and dogs that do better in a contained setting than a wide-open field.

The dog setup

The enclosure is fully fenced with a double-gated entry, so you can clip and unclip leads inside the holding area without a dog slipping past. Off-leash applies inside the fence only, under direct supervision at all times, and an adult must stay with the dog. Bags and bins are provided for cleanup, and fresh water is on site so you do not need to cart your own. Council rules exclude dogs declared dangerous or menacing, and any dog showing aggression is expected to leave straight away.

The vibe

A neighbourhood park in a new estate: expect young families, first-time puppy owners and a steady local crowd rather than destination visitors. A children's playground sits nearby, so weekday midday is the calm slot if your dog is unsettled by kids or commotion. Early mornings and late afternoons on both weekdays and weekends draw the regulars.

Max: work the double gate properly. Outer gate closed before the lead comes off, and never both gates open at once, even if your hands are full.

Getting there and parking

The park sits off Clifton Drive in the Arcadian Hills estate at Cobbitty, near The Northern Road, with street parking right at the gate. The entrance and parking are wheelchair accessible. Public transport is thin out here, so driving is the practical option from Oran Park, Narellan or Camden.

Worth knowing

There are no public toilets at the facility, so plan accordingly. Natural shade rings the perimeter and benches give owners a place to sit, but the grassed surface goes muddy after heavy rain, so pack a towel for the drive home. Because the space is compact, it fills quickly; if the enclosure is crowded, it is an easy detour to a bigger park nearby.

Close by with the dogs

Titan Park Fenced Dog Park at Oran Park is the bigger enclosed option a few minutes away, and Gregory Hills Fenced Dog Park is another solid fallback. For a coffee with the dog afterwards, woof Grounds is a dog-themed cafe worth the short drive.
