Reviews are generally positive on beds and location; it is a solid mid-scale city hotel rather than a luxury play.

Getting there and parking

The hotel sits on St Kilda Road between the CBD and the bay, an easy run from the M1 or the Nepean Highway. Secure basement parking is on site for a daily fee, with a 2.0 metre height limit that rules out high-clearance 4WDs, and trams run straight up St Kilda Road if you would rather ditch the car.

Make a day of it

Fawkner Park is a short walk south for an off-lead session at the Fawkner Park dog off-leash area, and the Albert Park Lake circuit is a flat, scenic on-lead walk minutes away. Note that dogs are not permitted in the Royal Botanic Gardens, so plan the green time elsewhere.
