The pet setup

Worth knowing

Inside the grounds, dogs stay on lead and under control, the standard caravan park arrangement, so plan your off-lead exercise elsewhere in town. Pets are kept off furniture in cabins, and cleaning up after your dog is expected across the park.

Max: confirm in writing that your specific cabin is pet-designated before you arrive. A verbal yes over the phone is not the same as the right room blocked out.

The place

It is a relaxed park geared to short stopovers and longer stays alike, with powered sites for caravans and motorhomes, ensuite cabins for travellers without a rig, a saltwater pool, camp kitchen and playground. The Childers Road position puts the city's shops and attractions an easy drive away.

Getting there and parking

The park sits on Childers Road, the main route in from the south, with free on-site parking and room for cars, caravans and motorhomes. Access is straightforward, without narrow residential streets to negotiate.
