Midtown Caravan Park

Midtown Caravan Park on Takalvan Street in Millbank is a genuinely pet-friendly park on Bundaberg's south side, built around a central, paved layout with caravans, campers and cabins rather than a bush setting. It is a practical stopover base with shops within walking distance and the coast twenty minutes away.

Dogs at the Midtown Caravan Park

Well-behaved dogs are welcome on the powered and unpowered caravan and camping sites, and pet-friendly cabins may be available by arrangement, so ask management when you book. A fee of $10 per pet per night applies, with certified service animals exempt. Dogs stay on a lead whenever they are outside your site, and you clean up immediately. Tell the park you are bringing a dog at booking time so you are placed on a suitable site.

The vibe

The park has a swimming pool, barbecue areas and clean amenities, and reviews consistently point at clean cabins, comfortable beds and friendly owners. Sugarland Plaza is a short walk for groceries, and it is the closest caravan park to Bundaberg Hospital if your trip has a medical reason. Getting there and parking

The park sits at 61 Takalvan Street, directly off the main road into Bundaberg from the south, with free on-site parking for vans and cars. Bundaberg's CBD is a few minutes north, and Bargara's dog-friendly coast is a 15 to 20 minute drive east.
