The park itself

What you give up in dog access you get back in location. The park fronts Lake Hume directly, with swimming, boating and fishing on the doorstep, and amenities that include a camp kitchen, BBQ facilities, ensuite sites and a jumping pillow. Lake Hume Ludlows Reserve on the same highway stretch keeps BBQs, picnic tables and boat ramps by the shore, and it is worth knowing that dogs are welcome there on a lead.

If you are staying elsewhere in the region with your dog, Wodonga is the nearest base for a run: Belvoir Park Dog Park gives off-leash space, and on the Albury side of the border Oddies Creek Leash Free Area sits right on the river.
